More than 1,500 people reportedly joined the 29th Annual Vilano Bridge Run on Saturday, March 28th - a 5K/10K that took some energetic (and decidedly upbeat) runners across the Vilano Bridge twice over, winding them on a scenic route through the campus grounds of the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB).

The race ended with beer, food and music at the North Shores Community Park. Proceeds from the race will be used to support projects in Vilano Beach, the North Shore communities and FSDB, according to sponsor 1st Place Sports Running’s website.
