Joshua M. Sparks is a filmmaker, a screenwriter, an editor, a film aficionado and a cafe frequenter. Films he has directed with Sis Byers include the 12-part series, "A Year's Worth" (2022), and feature documentary, "playmovie" (2025). But above all, he is a man, a hopelessly inquisitive man, just like you.

I've always loved the ocean. Being immersed in nature and among wild creatures gives me peace and joy. Horses and dogs have been at the center of my life and keep me whole. Playing the guitar heals me. My favorite lyrics are from John Denver: "…know he'd be a poor man if he never saw an eagle fly.”

Jessica Giraldo is a writer and educator in St. Augustine, where she has become a local. She graduated from Flagler College in 2025 with a degree in English and minors in Digital Media Production and Journalism, and she hopes to pursue graduate studies in 2027. Inspired by the city’s culture of history, art and music, Jess enjoys all forms of writing, particularly creative nonfiction, poetry and journalism, focusing on storytelling centered around emotion.
